Free Kids’ Event: Free Weekends Fiddleheads

Each weekend, Garfield Park Conservatory’s nature-education teachers use fun projects to teach kids and their families about plants and the natural world. Activities change weekly, but past activities have included kids exploring the color green, learning about the unique trees in the conservatory, and participating in chicken-wire weaving. Upcoming activities in October include Creatures of the Night on Saturday, October 29. This special Halloween event welcomes costumed kids and their families to interact with live creatures, including owls, bats, and snakes, even a sloth.
