Free Kids’ Event: Free Admission at the Chicago History Museum
Thanks to the Illinois General Assembly, many museums are mandated by law to offer Illinois residents up to 52 free museum days each year. On select days, the Chicago History Museum opens its doors to exhibits such as surveys of Abraham Lincoln’s writings, views of what Chicago looked like in the past, and lessons that challenge visitors to see Chicago as a crossroads of American industry and equality.
