Free Kids’ Event: Free Wild Wednesdays
Young kids accompanied by caregivers drop in at Garfield Park Conservatory on Wednesdays in order to learn about plants and animals while getting their hands a little dirty. October through April, kids hang out indoors in the Elizabeth Morse Genius Children’s Garden. There, they might become a chef in the garden’s soil kitchen and hang out with live animals, who stop by twice a month. When the weather warms up in May, kids head outside to the Play and Grow Garden. That’s where they can climb on the tinker tree, build a fort, and learn how to grow food in the edible garden.
