Good for beginner practice as there's only gentle slope with limited range. So you never have to worry about to be too fast even if you know nothing about ski. But you'are seeking speed and excitement of downhill experience, that's not the place.

About Gateway Hills Snow Park

At Gateway Hills Snow Park, every obstacle is an opportunity. Peppered with a variety of rails, tapletops, and jumps, the progression terrain park lets skiers and snowboarders let loose for a fun, freestyle afternoon. While the park is open to all experience levels, the layout is conveniently created for beginners with run lines that progress in difficultly from the left to the right side of the hill.

The rookie runs in particular offer a perfect setting for novice skiers and boarders to learn, practice, and develop basic skills such as starting and stopping on easy terrain. These runs are set level to the snow and include flat boxes, flat rails, and rolling terrain to hone ski and snowboard skills before advancing to the intermediate runs.

What's more, beginners and experienced riders alike can ride on the "magic carpet" for an easy ascent from the base of the hill to the top in a matter of minutes. For more personalized attention, instructors are also on hand to lead beginners in private or group lessons.
