What You’ll Do
Surrounded by old photos and playbills, guests snap their fingers and tap their toes to a live acoustic trio that hearkens back to the jazzy heydays of Nat King Cole and Oscar Peterson. During this casual cocktail party, musician Adam Lomeo hopes to recreate the ambiance and energy of jazz clubs from the ’40s—a feat made possible thanks to the vintage ambiance of The Coffee House Club. While the atmosphere is decidedly old-school, however, the refreshments are anything but.
Live Acoustic Jazz
Guitar, acoustic bass, and grand piano define the evening’s soundtrack as Adam Lomeo’s group, Rum Runners Jazz, performs in the styles of Nat King Cole and other icons from the ’40s and ’50s.

The Coffee House Club, founded in 1914, surrounds its visitors in an old-school parlor setting. Ledgers filled with famous signatures accent a decor reminiscent of the days when composer Jerome Kern would come in for drinks.
If you’ve ever flipped through TV channels or played a video game, then there’s a good chance you’ve heard the work of jazz musician Adam Lomeo. His original music has been licensed by Xbox and Animal Planet, and he’s also released two CDs on his own. Adam and his guitars have toured across the world, and he is the founder and lead musician behind Rum Runners Jazz Boutique, an agency that supplies background music for corporate and social events.
