In celebration of local food and music culture, the Atlanta Street Food Festival assembles a flock of the city's most popular mobile kitchens and musicians. This year, the event will showcase the wares of 16 diesel-powered dining establishments amid a steady stream of rock 'n' roll and R & B bands. Aromas from Nana G's chicken and waffles and Hail Caesar's salads and wraps swirl through the air, slow-dancing with the ivory melodies and honeyed pipes of multi-instrumentalist Timothy J. Wilson. Rocker Dwight Raby sates aural appetites with muscular guitar licks and a twang-tinged voice after cutting his musical teeth by gnawing on drumsticks during open-mic sessions in Atlanta coffeehouses. Southland Romeo perform original tunes driven by electric fiddle, and Josh Bias & The 630 Band close the event. The band brings a ferocious energy to the stage, intensifying radio favorites from a variety of genres with stomping riffs, thunderous drums, and a frontman whose voice alternates between a delicate tenor and a gnarled scream.

A portion of each ticket will be used to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Menu items will range from $2 to $10 and will vary depending on each vendor.
