What You'll Do
After gleaning inspiration from a stroll through the cobblestone paths, artisan workshops, and historic sites of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, you'll settle down in jeweler Carrie Bilbo's private workshop. There, you'll learn to craft your own custom cuff-style bracelet using a jeweler's saw to mold the metal to your liking. While background music and creativity fill the air, Carrie provides a hands-on demonstration and feedback as you hone your craft, sip drinks, and nibble on light snacks.

Master Jeweler, Artist
For as long as she can recall, Carrie Bilbo has had a passion for making jewelry by hand. While attending Pratt, where she graduated first in her class, Carrie honed her jewelry-making and metalworking skills before starting her own business. Named one of the Pratt Institute’s “40 Under 40,” Carrie has created jewelry featured in such publications as Nylon, Vogue Germany, and InStyle. Her pieces have been spotted strutting down the runway as part of Christian Siriano’s (Project Runway) NY Fashion Week collection, and on the wrists and ears of such stars as Whoopi Goldberg.
