It was pretty but not worth the wait or the price.

Purchased for the ice skating for my daughters birthday and it wasn’t even ice skating. Place ran out of waivers for children so we had to wait 20 minutes for them to print more. The plastic “ice skating ring” they have is very small. Very disappointed

Absolute waste of money and time. The “ice skating” was a bunch of puzzle pieces of polymer impossible to actually skate on without your blades getting stuck between pieces. The hot cocoa was poor quality and watered down. I spent $40 on this Groupon that said the value was $100, despite the website stating that use of the rink was $5 including skate rentals? So the hot cocoa was valued at $25?!!

Was nice to check out this historic part of Denver, but it was a pretty quick visit. Would recommend going there on a day of a special event, like the fall festival or a summer concert, rather than just on a regular ol' day.

The tour of the actual house was well worth the price of admission. The park itself is a little boring, and the animals are few (and even though they sell food, it's nearly impossible to feed the chickens because of all the chicken wire around the pen). It's a fun one-time visit and educational, but only if you get there for the tour of the house which was top-notch.

Really a very neat place to learn a little bit about life in Denver in the later half of the 1800s and early 1900s. My children had a blast panning for gold, seeing the animals furs, old wagons, and relics, and learning what life was like back then. The history of the old homeplace is fascinating. Definitely worth our money and time. Just be sure to pack a picnic as there's no food here.
