Fame: The Musical
First, Fame was a 1980 Academy Award–winning film. Then it was an Emmy-winning television series with six seasons under its belt. Then it hit the stage. In the decades since, it has toured the world, inspiring countless people with its tale of young performing-arts hopefuls trying to make it in the worlds of dance, music, and theatre. The story revolves around a handful of New York students all from different backgrounds and different disciplines, but as they work to become better in their chosen mediums, they come together in friendship (and choreographed musical numbers, of course).

Following seven years and $10 million in renovations, the Park was reborn as a brand-new performing arts center. A fully-equipped, state-of-the-art multipurpose facility, the Park features concerts, theatrical performances, opera, dance, children’s and family shows, and more. Through extensive renovations, the Park boasts a larger, deeper stage and 1,000 plush seats with significantly more legroom than most theaters.
