What You’ll Do
The innovative practice of 3D printing starts with a 3D CAD model, which allows any object of the imagination to come to life, from simple items like a cookie cutter to something as complex as a prototype for a new product. During this event, experts lecture on 3D printing and teach a 30-minute tutorial on a selection of free 3D CAD modeling software tools. 3D printer demos allow attendees to watch a model take shape on a 3D printer live, layer-by-layer. The class is designed to get event-goers up-to-speed on what 3D printing can do and how to get started 3D printing—all while focusing on free tools. Visitors also get the chance to ask questions of some of the leaders in 3D Printing education from HoneyPoint3D.

3D CAD Modeling Tutorial & Demo
Attendees can watch running 3D printers and follow along with live 3D modeling tutorials. Bringing your own laptop and mouse is required if you want to follow along yourself, but not necessary if you just want to watch.
Tour, Eat, and Drink
Take a self-guided tour of Autodesk’s gallery, which includes 20 exhibits featuring work from companies such as LEGO and Sony Pictures. Between gasps, enjoy light refreshments provided by Autodesk Gallery.
