What You’ll Do
Upon arrival at this cooking extravaganza, you’ll be split off into one of three teams, where culinary experts from Chaos Cooking, a NY Times-featured social community, show your group knife skills and cooking fundamentals. After you have the basics down, you’ll receive recipes and begin to cook sumptuous dishes, from classic moules a la mariniere and creamy mussels with smoky bacon and cider to Thai red curry with coconut milk. Work alongside new friends and fellow chefs-in-training as you learn to chop, tap shells, mix sauces, and even torch crème brûlée as you indulge in your creations—along with plenty of French bread and wine, of course.
