As you enjoy light snacks, she teaches you the history and meaning of henna in Moroccan culture, shares firsthand stories of her experiences in Morocco, and decorates your hands with dark paste made from a henna plant.

The professional henna artist and co-author of the first ever book on Moroccan henna, Moor: A Henna Atlas of Morocco, has produced henna art that has appeared in films including Spike Lee's The 25th Hour and Jonathan Demme's The Manchurian Candidate. Lisa gained her deep appreciation and respect for the ancient art form by living and working in Morocco.
