A Practical Guide to Gameday at Autzen Stadium
- Show up early for the Players March to Victory, a UO tradition that sees the valiant players strut down the Mo Center central boulevard before the game. They’re accompanied by cheerleaders, the Oregon Green Garter Band, and, of course, The Duck
- Get in the spirit by joining in on the all-stadium sing-and-dance-along between the third and fourth quarters, when Otis Day and the Knights’ “Shout” blares loud and proud—a hat tip to the stadium’s prominent role in National Lampoon’s Animal House
- Dazzle your friends with stadium facts and figures. Here’s a good start: Opened in 1967. Seating capacity: 54,000. $220 million to construct. 10,000-square foot entertainment center.
- Gameday can be busy so consider the UO DuckExpress, which leaves every 10 to 20 minutes in the four hours prior to the game. The shuttle can be caught at eight different park-and-ride locations. Alternately, bikes can be parked in the Duck Pen for $1 apiece.
