Menu is very simple but is tasty. Menu has not been updated online, the real menu is much smaller than online.

Mediocre at best. The food was okay but it was nothing to brag about, however the service was very good. I would expect better from a Mexican restaurant in Old Town. Not the best place to take out-of-towners. The only thing worthwhile was that I didn't pay full price with the groupon.

The restaurant is haunted by the spirit of a former worker who was killed by her abusive boyfriend. Murder-suicide. She's friendly, though

The food was pretty good, the service was chaotic. We waited forever for them to check on us after they brought our food. They only brought us our chips and salsa and sopapillas after we asked for them a couple times. It was just kind of a long frustrating experience.

It's a cute little restaurant, but easily the worst Mexican cuisine I've ever had. The fryer was apparently not heating, so fried chilies and potatoes were coming out raw. The salsa was like ketchup. There was no flavor in any of the food. The kitchen plan needs a complete overhaul. On the bright side, the server was very kind and polite.

About Hacienda Del Rio

Hacienda Del Rio proprietors Andres Rosales and David Rosales invite their visitors into a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere filled with spicy, flavorful, and colorful Southwestern and Mexican food. Earth-colored walls and white pillars surround tables clad in royal-blue cloths, which frame sizzling skillets of beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, grilled-pork carnitas, and blue-corn enchiladas. Andres, a lifelong New Mexican, celebrates the culinary heritage of his home state with menu items such as the fry-bread tacos and Old Town burger, spiced with zesty green chili.
