About La Cuchara
La Cuchara—for those who don't speak Spanish—means "spoon." And yours definitely gets a workout when you dig into some of the restaurant's inventive dishes. When dining here, you might find yourself blowing on spoonfuls of cilantro soup spiced with onions and jalapenos; scooping melty morsels of queso fundido con chorizo onto fresh tortillas; and picking up every bit of chilaquiles with salsa and queso fresco. La Cuchara's chefs pride themselves on making modern interpretations of classic Mexican dishes, including tacos with beer-battered avocado and burritos sweetened with chopped pineapple. The tortillas and salsa are made fresh each day too, unlike the tables and chairs.
