McKenzie understands the integrative role of eastern medicine in a western world and is constantly learning and adapting to provide the best, informed care in an ever-changing world. We build you up by using nutrition, herbs, and bodywork with local, organic, plant-based, and sustainable products.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our system is broken. Fast food is cheap and pharmaceutical drugs have massive side effects. Acupuncture has zero side effects and has been around longer than western medicine. It is a system of health that addresses the very root of the issue(s). We are not machines and we deserve to be cared for!
What do you love most about your job?
Watching a patient come in with debilitating pain, emotionally or physically, walk out of the treatment room with a major reduction in symptoms and new hope and light in their eyes is the most beautiful thing in the world.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
We all need to watch out for one another. When we heal ourselves, we are better able to heal our community and make things easier for all of us sharing this planet. The best feedback I receive from patients is when they are open to allowing the healing wisdom of their own bodies and hearts.
