About This Deal

Five-Day Für Elise Piano Challenge

Welcome to to my Five-Day Für Elise Challenge! Yep, that's right, by the end of these five days you will have learned everything you need to know in order to play Beethoven's famous piano piece! Each video covers either a different segment of the music or walks you through interpretive issues. Also included in this challenge is a specially marked PDF of the music - it includes important markings and finger numbers that will make your learning process easier!

While I've tried to give a basic explanation of the various elements of the piece, you will find it much easier to learn if you know how to read music, but since I've included an overhead angle of my hands playing, even if you don't know how to read music you might still be able to learn the music by simply watching my hands on the keys.

About Madrid Studios

Hi— I’m Mandee! I’ve been a music nerd for as long as I can remember. I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old and I was immediately hooked— in fact my mom used to have to tell me to STOP practicing! I knew from a young age that I had a passion for sharing music with others and I started doing exactly that— teaching younger kids in my neighborhood when I was only 13 years old— and I’ve been teaching ever since. Whether it’s piano technique, repertoire, ear training, or music theory— I love talking about it all! My various degrees include an MM degree in Collaborative Piano from UC Santa Barbara and an MPerf degree in Piano Accompanying (I specialize in German Lieder) from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. The study and performance of music has brought me over all the world and my various collaborations have introduced me to new friends in all genres of music. Music has been the single most beautiful thing about my life and I am just so excited to share it with other music nerds everywhere!
