Very small place but nice inside. Food is great the 10” pizzas are more like 12” and will feed two people. They deserve their high reviews and we will be back when in Chicago. Get the hot peppers to put on your pizza they are free

About Mama Milano Pizza Bar

When Rafaele Amodeo emigrated from Marigliano, Italy in 1912, he wanted to bring a piece of his hometown with him. He opened his first pizzeria in Chicago in 1919 armed with little more than some family recipes and a bushel of culinary know-how. From there, it was off to the races, and Mama Milano Pizza Bar mushroomed to 13 locations by 1960.

Today, the pizzeria bakes up old world favorites in the form of house-made ravioli, meatball parmigiana sandwiches, and thin crust pizzas covered in top-quality ingredients such as plum tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and house-made marinara.
