Q&A with the Owner
In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
The menu consists of traditional grill items such as burgers, 1.5-pound porterhouse pork chop, chicken, and salmon—all of which are either antibiotic free, hormone free, or wild caught. We also provide organic produce which include our sides such as kale, butternut squash, and grilled veggies.
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Two of our most popular items on the menu are first the fish tacos. They are made with Mahi Mahi and topped with a cabbage mix, avocado aioli, cilantro, and house-made salsa. Second is the all-natural beef burger, which is made with 1/3 pound of beef, served on a hot and spicy bun, and topped with organic lettuce, tomatoes, and onion.
Do you adhere to any sustainable or eco-friendly practices?
It's important to us to use organic produce and meat products free of hormones, antibiotics, and other additives, because for us, it's just a better and cleaner choice, even if it's not necessarily healthier. We still deep fry some items, such as our fries, but we use rice bran oil, which is higher in antioxidants and has less oil transfer onto the food.
