About Mizu Japanese

Along the shores of White Bear Lake, Chef Josh Romans transforms dock-fresh seafood into creative sushi. The intrepid chef—who's spent years learning the subtle ways of traditional Japanese cuisine, both in the States and in Japan—offers up a menu of authentic, simple bites as well as singularly unique rolls. Among his specialties is the Lake Monster roll, which combines tender blue crab and asparagus wrapped with shrimp, lemon tobiko, and red chili, all topped by a tangle of seaweed salad.
