Mom's Eats and Sweet Things
Early in the morning, long before most people are thinking about dessert, the staff at Mom's Eats and Sweet Things is already busy creating homemade ice creams, sorbets, cookies, and other sweet treats for the day ahead. Ice cream flavors may include everything from coffee to coconut to cinnamon toast, while smoothies make for a healthy alternative since they're made with 100% real crushed fruit. The staff's commitment to making things from scratch extends even to the hot fudge topping and vanilla extract, both of which are prepared in-house from family recipes. And although sweets are front and center, there's a sizable savory menu as well, stacked with reubens, meatloaf, hot dogs, and chicken cordon bleu sandwiches.
