Marco Turano takes food seriously. The owner of Novello Restaurant & Bar takes immense pride in the integrity of his food and the professionalism of his staff. For a tropical "Addison Mizner" feel, opt for a table on the patio. Order a bottle from their well stocked wine cellar as you peruse the menu. An Italian Super Tuscan, Baby Amorone, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo or Chianti by the bottle or the glass sets the mood. Each customer is invited to dine like an Italian and try polpetta (veal meatball) with ricotta, grilled octopus, or sautéed mussels. For entree pasta dishes are recommended - most notably the Fiocchetti con Pera (pear stuffed pasta with gorgonzola, walnuts and cream sauce). Tartufo - Italian ice cream in a hard chocolate shell, Italian Ricotta cheesecake or Tiramisu may be worth saving room for.
