What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Ocean Recording Studio, located in Roseville, MI, is a full-service studio capable of tracking, mixing, and mastering your recording session. We also offer orchestration, instrumental arrangement, mobile recording, voiceover services, and more. The studio is owned by producer/engineer Justin Rogers.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Justin Rogers got his start in 1999 when some friends asked him to help record a demo for their band on a small mixer he owned. Since then, he has turned Ocean Recording Studio into a full-service studio offering bands and artists quality production compared to that of major label releases.

What do you love most about your job? After high school, I taught percussion for five years and miss it! Although, inspiring others through the teaching of music was one of my biggest passions, I am still able to do so on a daily basis by helping and pushing the artists I work with to strive for only excellence.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
