- $40 for a concealed-firearm class ($70 value)
Michael Harrison loves to talk—specifically about caliber and ammo. That's the main reason he opened Peak Firearms: to help people find the most suitable firearm by providing a friendly face (and ear), and then answering any question they have, no matter how small. To Harrison and his team, this personal approach is what's missing at most other gun outfitters.
That's not to say they only work with beginners, however. Their clientele includes everyone from complete novices to police officers and experienced trap and skeet shooters. They sell guns such as Smith & Wesson handguns and AR-15 rifles, and they repair firearms from their customers' existing stock. Beyond retail sales, Peak Firearms' staff teaches firearms classes at nearby locations.
