SausageFest Chicago 2015
A hearty sausage or hot dog is a key component to a perfect day at the ball park. SausageFest Chicago will pay homage to that delectable tradition as it unpacks in the shadow of Wrigley Field on the corner of Clark and Addison for a two-day celebration of sausage, music, beer, and more sausage.
On July 18 and 19, some of the city's most-renowned sausage purveyors will dole out more than 50 craft sausages, including The Paulina Meat Market, Chicago's Dog House, Haute Sausage, and many more. Live bands will add to the festival's party-like atmosphere, including Piano Man (an Elton John and Billy Joel cover band) and Trapt on Saturday night. The fest will also crown a new Sausage King of Chicago, an annual philanthropic competition that, this year, will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
