Just look for the giant rooster. Outside of Sawyer's Farmhouse Breakfast, the enormous sculpture stands like some kind of breakfast lighthouse drawing visitors to the bright, barn-red building. Inside, wooden booths and paneled walls embody the feel of an old farmhouse, and the home-style breakfast and lunch complete the picture. On the menu, ten types of crepes feature a variety of fillings, such as strawberry and mountain berry compote, while giant golden waffles arrive topped with crispy fried chicken. So massive it needs two plates to contain it, the mountain man breakfast sates insatiable appetites with pancakes, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, eggs, meat, and an axe to cut everything with. Of course, folks can enjoy more modest lunches of garden salads and bison burgers, which are served all day.
