Considering the really cold and wet morning, our group was welcomed by Gina’s warm heart who very well made a warming experience for anticipating returns. Gina's hands were full with our group that day and she rocked it like a rockstar leading our group’s first-time riding lesson with a loving firm hand. Inasmuch, Gina very well received assistance when offered which makes her a great leader in lessons with us hopefully again. Thank you.
We love our instructor, Laura, and the riding portion of the lessons. It's a little disappointing that we only actually ride for maybe 40 - 45 minutes of the hour. We always dismount at least 10 minutes before the hour is up, and are told just to give the horses water; and the lessons typically don't begin for several minutes after the hour has begun. Other than that, great place, great instruction, horses we can really work with!

About Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center
When Kristen Roberson rolls up the doors on her 85’x200’ indoor riding arena, she not only lets in cool prairie breezes, but she also unveils a panoramic vista of the Sierra Nevadas off in the distance. This backdrop greets students at Sheridan Creek Equestrian Center, where they can enjoy year-round lessons. The fully insulated facility also features satellite radio playing over the loudspeakers and is watered daily to cut down on dust and prevent a gang of meowing cats from taking it over. Private and group lessons, doled out in one-hour increments, focus on the disciplines of lower-level dressage, Western riding, and jumping and are completely tailored to the rider’s goals. In addition, the center offers trail rides, taking riders on one- or two-hour custom spins around the ranch.
