About Studio 17
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
When a client comes into my studio, they can expect a one on one experience in a private, calm, and comfortable atmosphere. I am the only stylist that works here and I only work on one person at a time. My education and experience in the salon over the years has given me an edge and understanding of hair color and cutting.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have been working in Midtown Atlanta for the past 11 years! I opened my first salon, Everson McKinley Salon, 5 years ago. Wanting to provide my clients with a more calm and private experience, I decided to focus on my clientele only and open my second studio, Studio 17 Midtown. Est. 2018
What do you love most about your job?
For me, making people feel beautiful and new is the best part of being a hair artist. I equally enjoy having the opportunity every day to be creative. My most important job as a hairstylist is to not only make my client look and feel wonderful, but to do it without damaging their hair. For that reason I use only the best products and take every measure to ensure that the integrity of my client’s hair remains intact.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Seeing my client smiling with satisfaction at their reflection in the mirror is the best reaction I could hope for.
