A Chat with Taylor Stilson Voice Studio
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I am an Ivy League professor with a variety of techniques to best service the budding vocalist. My teaching style is fun and playful, built on scientific knowledge and real world application. You will leave your lesson feeling challenged and motivated to be the best singer and performer you can be.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
I provide water, a piano, a comfortable home-like atmosphere, and any music you may need. You bring a smiling self who is ready to explore singing.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I original started my music career as a pianist but realized I was missing the profoundly powerful energy that singing contains. As a performing singer I quickly noticed my innate ear for the singing voice and my keen knowledge of the workings of it. I have been teaching for 7 years and love it all.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is watching a student’s reaction to producing beautiful sound. My goal is to create the most beautiful sound possible with the least amount of effort, and when the singer understands the concepts that build such a technique it is very rewarding for me as a teacher.
