About The Nail Inn and School of Cosmetology
The Nail Inn and School of Cosmetology goes beyond the basics when teaching aspiring beauty-industry professionals. They learn cosmetology essentials like how to cut, color, and chemically straighten hair; groom nails; apply makeup; and perform facials. But the instructors also show them more advanced beauty techniques, including how to apply individual eyelash extensions.
The school's in-depth makeup instruction ranges from a two-day workshop focusing only on mature skin to a two-day workshop that concentrates on airbrush makeup for high-definition photography and TV. Those who really want to express their creativity can take the Fantasy Art class to learn how to transform a model into a convincing monster or President Grover Cleveland. An onsite salon and spa overseen by instructors allows students to practice their skills on real customers.
