For centuries, pizza and pasta battled for the title of Italy’s most beloved dish, an honor that was ultimately bestowed upon Sophia Loren. Enjoy Italian excellence with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $21 for two 10” pizzas (up to a $10 value each) with two drinks (up to a $12 value; up to a $44 total value)
  • $39 for four 10” pizzas with four drinks (up to an $88 value)

Choose from preplanned pizzas such as the Sun, which pairs red sauce with ham, bacon, cheddar, and pineapple, or the Press, a blend of mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan cheeses. For drinks, customers can sip craft beers on tap from local breweries such as Bootleggers Beer or Anaheim Brewery or drink bottled beers, wines, or fountain drinks.

The Pizza Press

At The Pizza Press, staffers wear newsboy caps as they take orders for personal pizzas named after famous papers, which arrive at tables atop wooden pizza peels lined with faux-newsprint. Patrons can feast on the Tribune, a mix of pepperoni, italian sausage, and red onion, or "publish" their own, adding a cornucopia of fresh ingredients and sprinkling on the whiskers of famous editors. Patrons hoist frosty glasses into the air, toasting the continued existence of cheese, then nurse seasonal and craft beers from local breweries. Recent offerings have included the Saint Archer I.P.A., which the San Diego brewery makes with seven types of hops, as well as brews from Hangar 24, Speakeasy, and Bootlegger's Brewery.

While the beer and wine selections are an adults-only treat, younger patrons can feast on kid-sized pizzas, then start eyeing desserts–a practice in which grown-ups may also wish wish to join in.
