About This Deal
A Chat with The Work
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I offer fun and creative coaching sessions in a relaxed environment for individuals of all ages. In addition to being a working actor, I also have a BA in theatre arts and a master’s degree in applied theatre as well as a certificate from Clown School.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Once booked, I ask that my clients send me the material they are working on 48 hours prior to our meeting so I have time to review it.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Many actors, veterans and newbies alike, are intimidated by the audition process. It is my aim to create an atmosphere where my client can bring spontaneity, fun, risk, and most importantly, truth to their creative work. No tricks, no gimmicks, the work begins with you.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping an actor to discover and fall in love with a piece of text or utilizing my combination of the traditional Stanislavsky Method and my physical theatre background to help them think outside of the box (even if they feel silly) is an absolute joy.
