The Treasure Island Flea boutique pop-up show holds its January market inside 1 Avenue of the Palms, the last building remaining in use from the 1939 World's Fair. While visitors peruse the 300-plus vendors, they can enjoy sipping the bartender's choice of specialty cocktails or mocktails. The specialty cocktail is a spiced Fuji sangria made with Pisco Portón, Galliano L'autentico, persimmon, Fuji apple juice, orange, and local red wine. The mocktail is a Mixi's "live" ginger nonalcoholic beer, with handcrafted "live" fermented ginger, lemon juice, and organic cane juice that is served tall over ice with fresh mint. At this dog-friendly event, free parking is available. Scavenger hunts take place both days, and all of the festivities are soundtracked by local bands. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
