Loved the VIP area! Totally worth getting vs general admission. You get samples of food, but in general admission area you have to pay an additional price and the food wasn’t great. Get the VIP package.

Very crowded in a small space, and lots of standing in lines.

The festival was great we had the VIP pass and I wish some restaurants did not run out of food by 1:30 so that we could try it.

Overall good experience but it would have been nice to have had something outlining what vendors were in the VIP area. Had some delicious cobbler and meatloaf but no idea who they were.

The event was scheduled on a weekend where there was a marathon in town so traffic was complicated. Upon arriving at the event, there was a 20-25 minute wait to get IDs checked to get into the event. They eventually brought a second guy over to help out. Lines were very long for each sampling but they moved along at a decent pace. Figure 5-10 minutes to stand and line and get a free sample. A few of the places ran out of their beer varities so there was limited sampling. The BBQ is extra as an FYI. About $11 per sandwich but it was quite good. If you don't like smoke, there was a lot of cigar smoke to stank up the place. There was some outstanding live music. They shut down the sampling at 15 minutes before closing with no warning. One brewery served the person in front of me and when I got up there said no more. I then observed them giving samples out to others but they were trying to make tips for it. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. I just don't think it was worth it.
