Was very frustrating to get an appointment. I phoned, was told a tech would phone me; didn't happen. Two - three weeks later, same attempt, same result. A day later, I drove to their Hubbell Ave. address in Des Moines, the building is occupied by a different business. I went to their website, phoned the Customer Service number, obtained an appointment for two days later. The repairman arrived on time, was friendly and competent. He provided the positive half of my review; the phone answering people in the first two phone calls were abrupt, not helpful at all, and caused the negative part of my review.

On time, did a wonderful job and was very courteous.

Prompt response in setting up an appointment...friendly, professional service. I will use United Heating and Air Conditioning if I encounter any problems with my AC/furnace in the future!

I suggest that you watch the work performed, ask questions, and learn from the person doing the work and they may have suggestions that will save you money in the future.

When I made the appointment, I was told that the service man would call before coming to the house and he did. When he did the check up on my air conditioner was very polite. After checking it, he told me what he felt needed to be done, but did not pressure me into it. I did have him do the things he suggested. So far, all is good Also purchased a yearly checkup for the furnace to be done this fall and another check up for the air conditioner for next spring.

Explained everything in great detail, so I could understand all of my options.
