In Caribbean-style cooking, the word "jerk" refers to the spices used, the preparation method, and a chef who often served the meat upon whoopee cushions. Be grateful for nicer chefs with this Groupon.

The Wild Hare

For more than 25 years, The Wild Hare has attracted diverse crowds from all walks of life to their musical abode. That's because their nightly live reggae tunes make it an ideal spot to dance or lounge with friends. First opened over 25 years ago, The Wild Hare has played host to a medley of top reggae artists, including Toots & The Maytals, Jimmy Cliff and the brothers Marley. While the irie vibes of the music fill the atmosphere, guests at their Lincoln Park club—where they moved in 2012—can treat themselves to late-night Caribbean-style treats such as coconut shrimp and jerk chicken, and rinse them down with ice-cold Red Stripe and famous rum punch. The venue also has space for private parties of up to 50 guests.

The food was exceptional. The way the fish was seasoned was simply delicious & the rice had a nice zing to it. The one complaint that I have is that my portion of fish was on the small side. But overall it's a great place to eat & I'll be going back without a groupon. This place is a hidden gem.....
