Dr Shi was INCREDIBLE! jovial, super informative— not only did he explain his techniques but also taught me a few acupressure techniques i could practice on myself. the acupuncture experience itself was surprisingly relaxing, but keep in mind this isn’t supposed to be a “relaxing” experience per se. you’ll feel some soreness after the needles are applied, not unlike a super deep tissue massage.

About Xu Shi Acupuncture
Winston Xu Shi studied medicine at Bei Jing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Dr. Winston is accredited by the California Acupuncture Board and as a Licensed Acupuncturist. He is also a member of American Eastern-Western Medical Institute, the Red-Cross Committee, and the Acupuncture Committee of China. He was a Faculty/Instructor at the Southern California University of Health Sciences and was an Oriental Medicine Doctor at the Dalian Municipal Hospital of TCM in China. With nearly 30 years of extensive experience in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine profession, Dr. Winston endorses the quality care that we offer to our patients. Dr. Winston is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
