Pay attention to details... I like the convenience of being near but out of the city. There is an awesome Italian restaurant near by that is delicious. The front desk staff person, Jennifer, was very nice and friendly and made sure I understood the hotel amenities. Room was clean. Here is where they fell short. Being on the 8th floor where there are laundry facilities, a fitness room, and a storage room. At 5:30 am one of these rooms was making an extremely loud banging noise, like dropping weights. This goes on all day until about 10:00 pm. The shade for the skylight in my room was broken so light came in as early as 6:00 am. Breakfast is not free and you have to pay for coffee if you are not using the gross in the room coffee maker. The hotel is dated and needs remodeling. Finally, there is no microwave in the rooms - everyone has to share one communal microwave near the front desk. They really need to get with the times and spend some money on this hotel. Shameful.

Nice location. No regular (only decaf) coffee pods in room. Good location. Stayed for 2 nights (Fri and Sat). Comfy king size bed, nice sitting area. Room faces the highway. It was quiet and airconditioning is fine. Though Had to ask for a regular coffee pod (not decaf) early am :( which was a hassle since We had to go down from the 6th floor. So, just a heads up, if you 're an early morning coffee drinker, ask prior to heading up to ur room...

Wonderful visit to d.c. in a nice hotel! I visited this hotel earlier last year (august, 2020). And this is a very nice hotel. I would encourage any person looking for a nice hotel to stay in while they're in town to choose this one! Wonderful staff. Very well kept up and clean! Nice big hotel as well. Rooms are nice size and I still keep raving to people about the stand up shower lol! Very clean and smelled nice. Hotel room was updated for sure! The t.v. is a very large nice size. The view was nice as mine was looking towards freeway exit! I was second to the top floor. I will be glad to consider this hotel when I'm in town again!

Dirty old hotel Checked in on a Wednesday after a long flight to be put into a room that had someone's good and coffee cup in the trash! We changed rooms but forgot a pair of pants in the closet. By the time we realised the pants were missing, the staff couldn't find them and didn't listen as the were looking for a shirt. My husband got them back too late for the event we went to NOVA for and it was obvious the pants had been balled up somewhere. The bar area was closed due to COVID and staff was relatively freaked out to take care of guests. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Not so hot The good- location, price and no charge for parking Kim um j The II NMR J.M. m bad- didn’t have our room made up in the second day. Was told at checkout they only do it twice a week. Huh? I don’t have a problem with not having housekeeping in my room these days but you must provide towels/shampoo etc each day and really should tell me upon check in. Upon check in was asked if I want 500 point gift or $10 credit. Took the credit for some water and soda. Was never put on my statement. Was told at checkout that Marriott doesn’t give credits anymore not even to platinum member. After some back and forth they gave me the credit. Lastly the electrical outlet between the beds was defective and the clock was blinking. They asked if we wanted someone sent up to fix it and again said no. Didn’t want anyone in the room. All in all it’s the little things that need work.
