Immediately no. The fact that this is currently rated the top in Asheboro should give you pause. We stayed here after leaving the zoo and we should have driven to Greensboro. This place is gross. Very sketchy. Broken tiles in the bathroom, hair everywhere, dirty sheets. No.

One night stop Needed a room for one night on way to Myrtle Beach. Location was good, with a fun restaurant right next door. The room could be refreshed (furniture with numerous nicks and scratches, loose floor tiles and wall paper starting to peel). Mobile check in/out and digital key was excellent. Breakfast was what you expect from a Hampton but slow to refill items.

Stay somewhere else I walked into this hotel and immediately regretted making a reservation. This hotel is in DESPERATE need of renovations!! The hallway smelled terrible. The room itself was even worse. The carpet and drapes were dirty. The room was odd smelling and stuffy. Everything about this hotel is old. There is a Holiday Inn right next to this hotel that was built in 2021 ( I know this because I left the Hampton Inn and checked into the Holiday Inn because I would rather sleep in my car than stay at the Hampton Inn.) The prices are very similar. Do yourself a favor and book at the Holiday Inn. Trust me!

Needs serious maintenance Much to my surprise, our stay was a big disappointment. The bathroom looked like there was a nasty fight in it. There were broken tiles on the floor, wallpaper was peeling, the toilet flushed very strangely, there wasn't a toilet paper holder! A bedside light didn't work, the carpet was fraying were it met the tile entryway. And, the TV was wonky. This was not my normal Hampton Inn experience.
