Wonderful night away Wonderful experience overall, the staff are extremely welcoming and attentitive. Superb hospitality throughout the hotel and restaurant. One of the best meals I've had provided by the restaurant Coq & Bull. Close to Bangor town centre, so anything you need is close by.

Amazing wedding venue & hotel We had our wedding here back on Thursday. We are so happy we chose the clandeboye. The staff were amazing on the day and throughout the whole process. An absolutely beautiful venue that from the moment we viewed it at the wedding fair we knew it was the one. It’s a plus that there is only one wedding a day. Fab food and great feedback from guests. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone. We are so happy we chose here.
Also such a gorgeous hotel, that is a nice cosy size. Exceptional food and such friendly staff

Big thanks I want to say a big thank you to the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel team, we had a flight cancelled and ended up needing to stay a 2nd night and they were so kind & accommodating with this. We’ve had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

10 year anniversary stay Stayed last Sun night as our 10 year wedding anniversary marrying here was the next day. Contacted the hotel mentioning this & was given £20 off the dinner, b&b experience & a room upgrade to luxury loft £250 total. The room was very nice with a good sized bed, tv, Nespresso (2 pods each), iron, board, fan, safe, robes & slippers, small toiletries, tea & coffee, shortbread & fruit.
Dinner they mentioned our anniversary seeing it on the booking & we had a card in the room & 4 Lindt truffles which was a nice touch. It was a special menu for Fathers Day including turkey & ham. Had to wait ages for someone to come back to take dessert order & in end had to get someone's attention. Ice-cream was not mentioned with the cheesecake but was accommodated. It was very pleasant overall.
I didn't sleep very well as there was a background hum in the vicinity once we turned off the tv. No idea what was causing it. One lamp at the bedside wasn't working but managed without it.
Breakfast - were shown to the lovely table by the big window but not what was on offer & completely missed the fruit & yogurt by the bar. Only seen when leaving.
The receptionists were very friendly. It is a beautiful hotel. There had been a wedding on in the main building & guests staying over but you couldn't hear the music.

Wedding day and dinner Myself annd my husband choose the clandeboye for our wedding day this June 13th. We cannot say enough good things about everything the entire team did for us on the big day and in the run up to our wedding.
The entire events team, our lovely MC Caitlin , bar staff, wait staff and hotel staff from start to finish were outstanding. Everyone was so welcoming, warm and helpful. Our friends and family were so impressed with everything. And the food was so good best wedding food all of our guests have ever had.
Myself the bride and my mother and two bridesmaid stayed in a family room the night before to get ready for the wedding. The room was big spacious comfy and breakfast was 10/10. Sarah the reception staff was a pleasure to chat to when checking in and looked after us to well. Also the bridal sweet was amazing the most comfy beds!
The Blackwood sweet for our ceremony was stunning. The entire venue was spotless. The staff paid attention to all the finer details when setting up the spaces.
Our dinners were delicious and warm and there were no big gaps between courses. Fantastic service from everyone.
We also had dinner post our rehearsal a few nights before the big day in the coq and bull with ten of our family. Again food was stunning and service was unmatched.
Our day was amazing and thank you to all the staff once again!
There is no negatives for this hotel it is honestly in my option the best hotel for a wedding NI. It is intimate, cosy and feels premium.
( if you had a spa this hotel would be 1000000/10)
