Great Stay We were in town for a graduation and visiting family, the front desk staff was kind enough to let us get a room ahead of check-in. The first room they gave us wasn't clean so they found another room for us. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again when we are in the area.

No Breakfast & the Swimming Pool was Closed The room was hot & the mini frig was turned down. I dried the moisture in the frig & turned both up & we left to get dinner, down the road. Later, the room cooled off. The beds were comfortable. By morning the frig cooled off. I didn't feel comfortable putting anything perishable in it before going to sleep. The next morning, the Office entry was locked & the night clerk was asleep in a lounge chair, visible from the door when I inquired about breakfast. She said blankly, "no breakfast, only coffee". We saw the covered pool on our way out.

basic needs We knew this motel was not comparable to the more higher priced hotels but we were hoping for at least 'good'. Our initial exterior view of the motel and then the inside of the room ( #115 ) was "oops, we may have made a mistake". The exterior and parking lot need a lot of work, but then, in a small town you kinda expect that the cash flow may not be enough to spiff the place up. The room was pretty good though my white socks quickly told me the floors had not been mopped properly. The bath tub backed up while showering. The breakfast was non-existant but that's okay - we found a local MacDonalds. It took a while to get the room cool but man, during the night it nearly froze us out, which we liked a lot ! This review asks if this motel has a pool. It does but it was covered. Now for the good... the staff was nice and cordial. The place was quiet even though there were a fair number of people overnighting at the motel. And last but not least, what we came there for - sleep - was just about perfect. My wife commented that this was a much more comfortable bed than many other higher priced hotels beds we've slept on in the past. I agree. We woke up refreshed without aches from too hard beds other hotels use. We never felt concerned regarding security. Lastly, the price was acceptable for what we got. Look, it's easy to nitpick and slam hotels in these small towns because they don't get the volume of business the big city hotels get and that leads to not having much capital to fix up, paint up, spruce up etc. These folks are probably doing the best they can to run this motel and turn a profit. Still, there are some things that they simply must tend to ( stopped up tub drain and mopping / cleaning the floors ) if they expect repeat business. So, would I stay there again ? Yes.

Good stop Room was ok. The bathroom needed updating. This was a handicapped room but I don't think a wheelchair would fit. Towels were dingy. Bed was comfortable. Was not noisy. Easy to adjust temperature. Nice smell. Will be glad to stay here again on our way to.Fayetteville.

Won't stay here again The bed was comfortable and the check-in clerk was friendly. However, the floor needed swept. There were 3 large bugs on the floor (2 dead and 1 kicking). The couch was so low down, you almost needed help to get up. No breakfast due to Covid -- not even fruit or breakfast bars. Check-out not as friendly - I think I woke her up when I rang the bell. She didn't ask how our room was or anything. After we left, I noticed our receipt showed a 99¢ miscellaneous charge. I emailed them to find out what this was for. Haven't heard back yet.
