Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa

Much better experience this year, and Eduardo was an amazing addition to the team! We had a far better experience this year at Playa Grande when compared to previous years! The front desk was accommodating, and Angela (sales) was very polite when she asked us about doing a Member Update. We decided not to do it initially, but we eventually did, as we were not berated and called names by the sales team like we were last year. The Event team was amazing. It was so good to see Humberto again this year! He was amazing as always! He made us feel very welcomed, and helped us any time we asked. He ran the bingo game earlier in the week, which was a lot of fun. I hope to see Humberto in 2027! This year I got to meet Eduardo. I love that guy! I did water aerobics and played Volleyball with him on Tuesday (I think), and he was hilarious! It was a pleasure to see him every day. He is very kind, and a lot of fun to be around. Out of Eduardo, Aimee, and Rodriguez, Eduardo was my favorite Volleyball coach! Im going to miss him, but hope to see him in 2027! I got to play Volleyball with Rodrigez, and he was a lot of fun! Very nice guy! Aimee was also very nice, and very welcoming as well. The Wednesday Fiesta Dinner was amazing. The fire show was a blast! Everyone was amazing. That was the only time I got to interact with Salma. She was great as always. We loved seeing her in years past, and would have liked to see more of her around the pool area. The EmC (Boss man, Mr. Pitbull) was awesome as always. He made the whole experience so much fun, though watching Eduardo and Rodriguez and the other guy dance in the Telletubbies outfits was also fun!

The epitome of relaxation!!!!! We highly recommend!!!!! My husband and I have now been to Playa Grande 6 times and have decided that we will escape here twice a year! Every time we go we question whether we should try a different resort but we always come back to the same perfect spot! We always purchase the all inclusive package as we get more than our money's worth enjoying drinks and snacks poolside all day long with the awesome staff that we have now come to know and look forward to seeing time after time! In particular, Ramon, Miriam and Ulysses have always been extremely attentive, friendly and fun! And while we will enjoy the occasional meal in town, we are always delighted with the theme nights in the restaurant, especially when we get to enjoy the impeccable service with our now dear friend, Jose!!!!!!! We so look forward to being with him each visit and will choose to dine at the resort just to enjoy his company! See you in December Jose!! If just relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun and over indulging in food and drink isn't your thing, not to worry, the energetic entertaining staff will keep you busy all day. You can start with stretching and yoga on the beach in the mornings, have a go at beach volleyball, water aerobics, and dancing or join the fun of Tequila Volleyball in the pool each afternoon! Ping pong, corn hole, poker, games, painting - it's all there!! Don't miss out!! And don't worry, while there are many families and precious little ones having fun, there is plenty of adult-only space to include the swim-up bar and pool beachside along with a designated hot tub! And lastly, you just can't beat the location! It's an easy walk into town to enjoy shopping, dining and enjoying an evening out on the town! And while you can enjoy a sunset cruise or whale watching tour excursion, you can also have both from the convenience and comfort of your lounge chair! Thanks Playa Grande, See you Soon!!!!

Playa Grande Spa The Playa Grande spa is the best. From Jasmine at the front desk and supervisor of the spa, to the staff at the desk and the upstairs valet service, you will be treated with kindness and professionalism. Whatever treatment you choose, you will find experts. To serve you. The massage therapists are excellent. Ana and Lucia are two of my favorites. And if you want a manicure or pedicure, Paula should be your choice.

Playa Grande Resort Aimee, Edwardo, Edwardo, Jair, Daniel and more have been wonderful entertainment, servers and amazing people to talk with. All around great and enjoyable service and entertainment . We’ve also experienced wonderful house keeping and dining.

Excellent Friendly staff … Amy was great!! All the entertainment was fun!! I enjoyed the beach party and the Mexican party… we loved Jair, and David too!! Tequila volleyball was so much fun……………………………………….,………………….,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,……………………………..
