Carroll Villa Hotel

Family vacation We booked for my dad and his girlfriend who had mobility issues so needed first floor. I think the staff was so kind helping them park etc. They raved about breakfast and since they were guests the front desk did a great job giving them priority seating. Beach tags and chair set up a plus. Overall great time and location is the best!

20th Anniversary Get Away First time visiting Cape May, NJ. We stayed for 2 night in room 13 which was on up two flights of steps but offered a glimpse of the ocean from one of the windows. We ate breakfast at the restaurant using our $30 daily voucher on one of the mornings. The food was good but they get busy quick so get in line early. Due to the weather we were unable to take full advantage of the beach chair/umbrella service but did enjoy the beach passes to take many strolls along the water. Within walking distance to many popular shops and restaurants. Must try the hot dog stand at the end of Jackson Street!

A great place to get away from the big city The room was clean and well maintained. The location allowed my wife and I to walk to shops, restaurants and of course the beach. Perhaps the only negatives were the steps and remote parking. Hotel should consider hiring a young person to carry luggage up and down the numerous steps.

Wonderful shore get away! My husband and I have come to the carroll villa for his july birthday for the past 4 years. We always have a lovely time, and it is the best bang for your buck. 30 dollars off breakfast at the hottest spot in town is wonderful! Plus, as guests you don’t have to wait in that crazy line that runs down the street to get it. 30 percent off dinner is equally wonderful; food is delish and the waitstaff is above and beyond! Also, being between the mall and the beach, we park our car and forget it for the remainder of our stay. Did I mention free parking!? The free beach passes save the hassle, and I love showing up at the beach and having my umbrella and chairs set up for me. Everything is so convenient, and the staff is fabulous. In this age of airbnb, it is nice be taken care of. Who really wants to cook snd clean on vacation anyway?? I are am sure we will be back next year! Thanks for a lovely visit. Beach umbrella/chair/towel service, small but good room in Victorian home We stayed in room 26 which is small but nice. Some peeling wallpaper (it’s humid here) and a nice, large shower. Great water pressure, really comfortable queen bed. Would recommend that the staff remove the chair as it is a trip hazard…and travelers should take care with the step up to the bathroom. The property is pretty. Nice sitting area in the lobby with coffee (no decaf, no hot water/tea) that we enjoyed. Can’t beat proximity to beach and nearly free breakfast at mad batter (yum). Would come back!
