Horrible Customer Service and Completely Dishonest If you are going to stay here...make sure you have a lawyer in your budget :) These people are complete scammers, who will keep your card information on file...and charge you over $260 extra for no reason...and then continue to blame it on the bank. Not only will they charge you extra, but they'll make sure to make it completely obvious that it was on purpose by doing it on separate days in separate amounts. Have fun disputing the charges with your bank and sitting in your lawyer's office. Deposit is required, but completely misleading. $75 deposit hold, turns into $260 apparently. Also, super terrible at communicating and really awesome at deflecting and gaslighting. Do not recommend.

Comfortable THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE. I WAS A LITTKE EARLY BUT HAD NO TROUBLE CHECKING IN. THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. MY STAY WAS FOR 2 NIGHTS AND THE SECOND DAY WAS JUST AS ACCOMODATING AS THE FIRST.

Palmetto Inn ( Does not look like this Picture ) First of all The Pictures show on this web site are NOT the Palmetto Inn. I do not know how they got away with that. Here is my review - Totally disappointing. We had to stay here 1 night due to a Funeral. Upon arrival our door key did not work so we had to move to another room. The only positive I can say is that I did not see any roaches, bed bugs, ants, mice or others and that the bathroom was fairly descent. The Lobby and Breakfast area are horrible. The mattress/pillows were awful, there were cigarette holes in the top sheet, the lighting was so dim I could not see inside my luggage, they say they have HBO but that channel is scrambled, there are only 3 other channels you can barely see due to fuzziness. The Wifi worked but kept dropping off. The air/heating unit is so dusty I know quality of air in the room was bad, I could see dust on the TV, walls & mirror. The carpet was not good. The outside of the refrigerator was rusted. The chair/sofa was torn. The breakfast was basically non existent. The coffee was so dark I think it was left over from the day before. They did not have enough apples, or muffins for their guests, they had some cold cereal that came out of an old hazy dispenser. I will not even talk about the toast. We did complain about the TV but management refused to credit our account, they said it was the cable company's fault. Management should not be able to get away with what they are charging for this motel and anyone staying here should expect more than this. I plan to write the Mayor of Cheraw and inform him of the conditions at this Motel. Anything else to share about Cheraw? This is a quaint little town but this is the year 2020. Everyone is striving to do better and expect better. There is no reason why Cheraw should be left behind. The motel/hotel industry should lead the way for visitiors who visit this historic town.

Just dirty and extremely out dated The lobby is in need of upgrading as well as the rooms. If I were Wyndham I would not have its name associated with this hotel. My sink had stains all over it and the TV in the room dodn't work, not to mention the carpet was pieced milled together, having been patched to replace the bad areas.

MAJ/Funeral The rooms were terrible , the beds matresses were stained, and sagged in the middle of the bed, carpets were ripped, and worn. Phone did not work, proper cord was not attached? Surfaces in bathroom not clean, rusty refrigerator, and toilet paper holder!
