Fabulous hotel! Fantastic hotel and the most welcoming staff! We arrived for a 2 night stay and was greeted by a very professional and friendly couple on reception. They were so welcoming and helpful - explained about the free coffees and cookies in the afternoon and we also had a complimentary drink at the bar. The hotel is in a great location for shops, bars and restaurants close by (there’s even a food next court next door). There is a bar and restaurant and it’s very stylish. The room was great and very comfortable with a lovely bed. There is a gym too that had fantastic equipment. We would certainly stay here again and would like to thank the stay apple hotel for an amazing stay.

A very pleasant surprise, never heard of StayPineapple, will definitely choose for future travel A large conference in Chicago was crushing availability and room rates, my usual hotels in the Loop were either booked or exorbitantly expensive, a search turned up the StayPineapple. I had never heard of it, almost didn't look because of the unusual name, but checked it out, rates were reasonable and reviews were stellar so I took a flier on it. If you like interesting boutique hotels with unique architecture and a fun personality, while having everything you need and good service, this is your place. Cool old building (fully renovated) with interesting history and architecture. Restaurant and bar are tasteful, I had lunch and later drinks at the bar, both experiences were excellent. Room was well appointed, not huge, but big enough, had an actual closet, safe, fridge, big flat screen, well appointed desk with power caddy. Huge windows with lots of natural light, but also effective light blocking curtains. Bedding was exceptional, their double duvet concept is brilliant. Bathroom was good size, well appointed, good lighting, granite counter top and quality fixtures. Couple of nice little touches, there was a Keurig machine with couple of their branded large pineapple ceramic mugs, but they also have a dish of creamers in the fridge. A high quality pre-filled/sealed aluminum water bottle, meant for refilling, that was free and meant to be taken, with a fill station at the bar on first floor. Finally, staff were all super friendly and helpful, had some fun personality (without being inappropriate). Bottom line, this was a very pleasant surprise, I'd never heard of the brand, it seems there are about a dozen of them scattered around the US, I will look for them when traveling from now on and will book as first choice (despite my bias for banking Marriott or Hilton points).

Plesant Stay The hotel is attached to the Atwood restaurant, so that is a plus. I did however find the menu limited. I order the cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection. The hotel rooms use actual keys-- how old school charming is that! Dont lose it though--$50 replacement. I had a king size bed, which was sorta cramped in small space with heavy furniture. I kept banging my leg on corner of bed as there was not alot of clearance space between bed and tv cabinet/dresser. There was also a lounge couch by the window , the view was of Macys, That bed was to die for. Just dive in and fall asleep...very comfortable. Not a fan of the duel duvets though, bit too puffy and awkward for me. The bathroom was small, lighting a little dim, very small toilet and very low to the floor. Nice hot water flow. Ample plugs for charging and using electronics. In room safe and refrigerator, coffe maker sits on same cabinet as tv, and blocked the left corner. Limited tv channels and i could not find a way to cast. The room was very.clean. I like the fact they dont enter your room, you call down for whatever service you need. Overall my stay was pleasant, no problems encountered. For the price paid it was a good value, i would recommend.
