Our experience We booked a one night stay for a king non smoking room. When we got there and went to our room there was a heavy smell of smoke. I went to the front desk and the gentleman apologized and said they had been having trouble with people smoking in non smoking room. Imagine my surprise when the next morning when we were going threw the drawers to make sure we hadn't forgotten any thing and in the bed stand draw was a ash tray.

Don’t Stay Here! It was clean and easy to check in but the night time noise and drunk people in the parking lot Horrible horrible horrible drunks and dogs barking all night long BOTH nights Construction work on the hotel started at 6! 6 AM! Impossible to sleep with dogs barking that other guests did not control it was ridiculous horrible and I’ll never stay there again or any hotel under this brand if this is what they allow

Good place for pets and people at good price. Was great to have my dog here with me for only $10 fee. Room was clean with up to date TV, Microwave and med. Size small refrigerator. Need to have more outlets near the Microwave. To put it on, you have to unplug the TV or refrigerator. Beds were great & clean. Breakfast was simple but ok. Owner was very nice.

Snuggled between the North Georgia Mountains. I discovered this hidden gem from an earlier era. I am a fan of older hotel / motel architecture. Specifically the Googie hotels / motels of the 1950’s and 1960’s. This is not example of that, likely built in the late 1970’s or 80’s - however, it did peak my interest for a variety of reasons. Principally- it’s location right near the North Carolina border. For me, I do business in North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Perfect access from Clayton. Most Days Inn’s are Wyndham branded. I am a member of there reward program. They are still in the process of remodeling. I stayed in one of the remodeled rooms. No problem. They put in good fridges and updated everything. The other great thing- they are Dog friendly and I travel with a dog. The pet fee is only $10 a night- a bargain! As a sidebar, the outdoor mountain vistas are spectacular. They also serve a great breakfast in a very cozy lobby area. I would highly recommend, especially if you have a dog. The service and front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Old Needs updating. A/C are old hardly keep cool. Everything is old and dated. Communication with desk is poor. Building needs remodeled or replaced.Been staying there for 5 or more yrs but I'm moving to a different place next time. Holiday inn express in Hiawassee was much nicer for same rate and included a breakfast.
