Nice Getaway Weekend Our weekend here was nice and quite. The staff was friendly, attentive and impressed us by remembering our room number. The troublemakers that checked in were booted by management for annoying other guests. (They didnt get infinite chances like some places do.) Our room was clean and our bed was incredibly comfy. Housekeeping was friendly and in our situation unbelievably honest. ( I accidentally left my purse with money in it in the room for several hours while we were out and housekeeping came in to clean. Nothing was touched! ) I cant speak for everyone of them there, just the gentleman we had.

Not awful but wouldn't recommend. The outside of the hotel looked great. Seemed safe and that was important to us. The first thing we noticed when we got in was a couple who came in after us and claimed they seen a roach in their room. We got a little nervous after that but continued on with our stay as we had pre booked and it was non refundable. We had already assumed the gym and the pool would be closed due to covid and we were correct. No big issue there. The hotel was extremely hot which sucked because im 7½ months pregnant. Luckily the air unit in the room worked (although it didn't cool the room down for 4 hours) There was an area at the ceiling that looked like the floor above was going to fall through. The sheets were clean and the covers. We always check and ensure no bugs, thats always our first priority. We tried to get the t.v to work but it just kept the direct t.v symbol up and wouldn't do anything else. My husband called and they said they would send someone up. They never did so he called again and this time they said they were switching carriers and they didn't have a t.v service at the time. It sucked but we were like well okay, thats fine no big deal. We decided to head to walmart and walked past SEVERAL rooms that had the t.v going including our neighbors. We were obviously lied to about switching service providers. The fridge barely worked and the microwave sounded like it was going to go out anytime. The rooms were clean and that honestly was the most important thing but we didn't appreciate being lied to. I feel as if we paid for services that were not provided but then again I guess you get what you pay for.

DON'T DO IT Asked for a non smoking room but it smelled of cigarettes badly. No hot tub. That's the only reason i booked. PHOTOS ARE SO MISLEADING. Obvious drug activity. DIRTY ROOMS AND MUSTY SMELLING. Filthy carpet. Worse breakfast ever. DIRTY! HORRIBLE IN EVERY WAY! Very unprofessional. The only thing good about this place is the bar/restaurant owner.

Kind staff, horrible hotel!! Smoky!, filthy, roaches_ I broke my own rule of not doing due diligence in researching a hotel that has the promise of a great deal on Priceline. This hotel has a 3 star rating which for the life of me I can’t figure out how or why. I digress. Driving past the front entrance should have caused me to keep driving. The front staff were very kind though new and inexperienced which caused quite a delay in checking in. My family group had three rooms, all non-smoking. We got to our rooms and all three smelled of smoke, mine the worst. I’m too tired at this point, I just need sleep. I quickly noticed that room hadn’t been vacuumed. The crumbs and debris built up where the carpet meets the wall was astounding. One of my 3 pillows had hair on it, and a few little dried splatters on floor in front of toilet told me keep my shoes on. The tub had a bath mat in it, but I did not use the shower, stand in the tub or even run the tub water for fear of what might be lingering under the mat. My brother and his wife confirmed my fears. They had a clogged shower drain and were standing in ankle deep water after a few minutes showering, the backwash of the drain and whatever was hiding under their mat was a bio Hazzard. The noise from the likely brothel below me as well as endless loud foot traffic and chatter in hall kept me away most of night. The residual smoke in my non-smoking room from the last guests had my nasal passages burning. I spend better part of night researching other 3.5 star hotels in area for only $10 more per night. I would gladly pay that now! The following morning I was able to switch rooms and it was a true non-smoking room. Thankful. My mother in our 3rd room booked shared with me the horror of the three roaches she killed the night before with the heel of her shoe. She too avoided even stepping into tub. We could not leave soon enough. To take a real shower, wash the smoke smell out of all our clothes and fumigate our luggage and contents for any stowaway roaches. My Columbus relatives all said after the fact that the area this hotel is is well known for being a bad area, run down and catering to the underbelly of society. So, take all our our collective advise and experiences and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!
