Good for a University visit This hotel is having a facelift so its hard to review it. However, I will say the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the breakfast was good. If you are visiting the University it is just a short drive to campus and the surrounding town. Its a good option for a short one night University visit

Cornell Visit Although a bit far from campus, we could not resist the reasonable rate. Also we were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful service provided by the front desk as well as the wonderful breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and the beds are comfy.

Another Great Stopover. The hotel was fresh and clean. The staff were polite, friendly and quite accommodating. The room was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The hotel offered a continental breakfast. There were numerous choices available and the food was quite tasty. We would certainly return.

Clean and comfortable We were greeted at check-in by a very friendly and polite employee at the front desk. We were concerned about the noise, being so close to the highway, but we could barely hear the traffic noise in the room. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast attendant in the morning kept all the items well supplied and the area was clean. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with most anything you could want, including multiple kinds of yogurts, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, pastries, including warm cinnamon rolls. The coffee was suprisingly excellent for a hotel chain! We would definitely stay again if we come back to Cortland!

Poor staff management The hotel was ok overall but there were several major issues. First the air conditioner in our room did not work well at all . Stayed warm in room no matter what temperature we set it too. Second the shower curtain was very dirt with brown stains all over it. Third and most important was their pool. It was very green and not well taken care of. There were safety signs saying adults needed for supervision of children. But when I was in the pool with my child a group of 8 kids came in without adults. They immediately started jumping , pushing , and diving in the pool. I had to leave the pool because it was not safe for my child. I went and reported this to the hotel staff at front desk and the lady looked at the camera and said looks like there is adult in there with them. That is all she did. We checked the pool an hour later and the 8 kids were still in there by themselves horse playing and being dangerous. Clearly hotel staff does not care. Definitely liability waiting to happen.
