A Nice Shore Getaway I bought show tickets for one of the Atlantic City casinos. I thought it would be nice to stay over for a few nights and travel to other nearby shore towns. I chose this hotel because of its central location to the highway, to Atlantic City, to Ocean City, and because it’s pet friendly. The hotel lobby is nice-there’s a fireplace and a seating area. The elevators were quick all hours of the day/night. It’s probably because it’s only a 4 floor hotel. We chose a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room which included a living room and kitchen. It was really nice having space. The hotel was clean and quiet. There’s a shopping center across the street which had places such as Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse, and Walmart. In the other direction, there’s a Wawa with a gas station. I’ll most likely stay here again. I recommend it.

Avoid this place! As a Marriott gold level user, I am shocked this place is allowed to use the Marriott name. I booked a room for three… arrived with two towels and two wash clothes. Nothing in room for pull out couch. I called the front desk… no one answered. I walked back to the front desk and asked them to leave linens for extra bed and more towels. Arrived back four and half hours later, nothing. I called the front desk, no answer. I finally found a nice but frazzled person near the front desk. She was eventually able to get some linens and towels but the “hotel didn’t have any more pillows.” I keep a very specific profile with Marriott and knotting in the profile was paid any attention to. My first really bad experience with a Marriott. Hopefully they will drop this dump from the Marriott branding. Plenty of other options to stay in the area. Definitely go elsewhere!

Great near Atlantic City Area A quick trip to Atlantic City lead us to this Marriott property on July fourth. All the rooms up and down the shoreline is pretty booked so we ended up on this property that is great. Five miles to ac boardwalk local road. The room is super nice w kitchen which is very useful cause the area restaurant close at nine and with a 24 hour Walmart is okay. Residence inn or Marriott property breakfast is limited to grab and go. I really miss the pre covid selection.

Typical for Residence Inn As expected for a Residence Inn, our room was very spacious. It had a pretty large kitchenette, eating area, and living room. The room was nothing special, but clean and had everything we needed. Due to COVID, breakfast was grab-and-go at the front desk each morning. They provided choices of Chobani yogurt, fruit, Nutrigrain bars, muffins, juice, and water, which you could pick and pack into a bag yourself. All in all, we had a comfortable stay and would return if we're back in the area.

Worse place on EARTH I’m so disappointed in the fact that they are able to use the Marriott name. Where do I start? Believe the reviews when they say this place is not a good option-stay somewhere else. So many things to start with. First off, the noise level is TERRIBLE! Do not call the front desk and complain because it’s actually turned around on you like you have no business complaining about kids running above your head and stomping and loud booms and falling all day and night! I encountered such rudeness at the front desk that it makes you wonder if they were ever trained to understand the core values of being a Marriott employee and upholding the name? I was a child once and I was NEVER allowed to run through anywhere let alone hotel rooms and hallways. However as an adult guest, a paying adult guest, you are entitled to a clean room and comfort in a relaxed environment. Let’s get to the comfort and room. The bed is awful and the pillows offer no support whatsoever. I came here for R&R and left with back, neck aches, indigestion and constipation! The worse mattress ever like it will put you in the ER if you lay on it too long! The only positives were the restaurants in the area that delivered. Johnny D’s and Chido Burrito! Timely deliveries, amazing food and even better customer service! They bring the delivery directly to you room! Back to the hotel. I prepaid for the room with a debit card in full and at check in, I presented a credit card for the incidentals hold. Why is the hold amount on the debit card and not the credit card like I asked? Good thing I’m not in a financial bind I would be a nervous wreck having checks out. At any rate, I discovered the misstep the night before checking out and called the front desk to inquire. The gentleman was so nasty. I am polite as the customer and he has the nerve to be nasty like he is the client that had the issue. I just shook my head. I won’t be back and I will let Marriott Corp know these folks are messing up what they stand for. Don’t come here!
