Hair, dead bugs, cookie crumbs, and SHORTS, oh my! We arrived at the hotel pretty late (about 9pm) We walked in and thought it was beautiful! The bar was cool and the layout was nice. Our room was another story. Because it was late and dark, we couldn’t see much. The next morning is when everything became visible. There were many strands of hair all over the shower, bugs on the floor behind the curtains, cookie crumbs next to the end table and a pair of little kids shorts behind a chair! We were shocked. We even texted the pictures to a staff member at the reception desk.

A unique lousy Hilton experience. As a lifetime diamond, this is the first time I've written a negative Hilton review: If you want to be overcharged; be served with lousy food; and meet a manager that doesn't care; then visit this Hilton for a unique New York Hilton Hotel experience

Solid old school Hilton. Despite negative reviews I booked this hotel and enjoyed it for its convenience/ location to the airport ,and the full service restaurant and bar, which was also very good. Yes it is a bit dated, but being a Hilton they have a higher standard than say a Hampton Inn etc. mostly around the smaller things in room. I like real glass for example. I will definitely stay here again when in Newark/NYC.

Great Hotel - Served it's purpose I stayed at a different Hilton Brand hotel (Home2 Suites) at Newark prior to staying here and it was not the best so my expectations were very low, which this hotel met. The only reason why I could not give 5 stars is because the 2nd bed in my room had sheets with very noticeable nasty satin (although appear clean despite stains --- but not sure). However, since we were only there for a few hours, it was something we could handle since the 2nd bed was clean. Despise this, I would stay here again and I do recommend it vs some of the others in the area.

Many others to choose from ! We had to catch and early morning flight the next day so stayed there bec it was near the airport . The place is run down and no amenities were provided in the room . Thank God it was for only one night . The only redeeming factor was the free shuttle service provided to and from the airport . The one restaurant in the hotel served the most horrendous Grench Onion soup I have ever tasted .
